Did you miss Gator Sign Up Day? We understand that life gets hectic sometimes and you can’t be in two places at the same time so here are the steps to take if you still want to swim in 2012:
1. Download the registratonform2012packet.
2. Fill out the form (both pages/sides!) and sign!
3. Write two checks to Germantown Gators: one for registration fee ($40, $80, $115, $150 for 1, 2, 3, 4 swimmers) and one $100 check for the work deposit.
4. Mail or drop off forms & payment to 22 N Walnut St., Germantown, OH, 45327.
5. Visit the City of Germantown offices to purchase your Germantown Pool pass. Make sure you tell them you are purchasing a pass for a Gator swimmer so you can receive the discounted rate.
6. Check out the google calendar on the site so you know when all the meets are and can plan your work shifts.
6. Get in touch with Amanda Bowman (mandybo70(at)gtownonline.com) to sign up for your work assignments. You are required to work 6 half meet shifts plus one shift at the Germantown Gator Invitational on Saturday, June 23, 2012, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM.
Keep in mind an important change beginning this season: No swimmer will be permitted to practice until all paperwork is completed, fees are paid, and work assignments made. Due to liability and financial issues, no unpaid swimmer will be permitted to enter the pool area until fully registered. It sounds harsh and it is unfortunate that we need to put this new rule into place.

Just added to the calendar: team pictures are Wednesday, June 13, beginning at 8:00 AM. Bob Woods will be there and he’ll start with the individuals (or siblings or cousins) and then he will set up the team photo. Order envelopes will be available at pictures. There will not be regular practices that morning so 13+’s can sleep in!

Swim team sign ups will be held Saturday, April 28, 2012, from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM at the Veterans Park Depot in Germantown. Need more information or a flyer? Registration Day 2012.
Please note the important change for this season. NO SWIMMER will be permitted to enter the pool area or practice with the team until all paperwork is completed, signed and fees are paid. This includes the Germantown Pool Pass that is required for all Gator swimmers. Board members will be outside the pool gates the first evening practices to make sure you’ve got everything you need to get your swimmer started for the season!

Tuesday, July 19 is the Gator end of season party. We’ll start with a carry-in at 6:00 (bring a dish or two to share, your choice of beverage and table service for your family), then the coaches will hand out trophies (The High Point Award, The Most Improved and The Gator Award) and ribbons and then they have to be patient while everyone thanks them again and again for being amazing people & coaches! After the awards, head over to the pool for a Gator Family-only swim party. We’ll have the pool until 9:00 PM. Then it’s good-bye to 2011 and see you in April at sign-ups!
